Egypt
Ridgewood Renewable Power has a growing and potentially very profitable electric power and water purification business in Egypt. The company is concentrating its efforts on the booming resort and hotel industry on the Red Sea, which is a popular destination for tourists from Europe and other parts of the Middle East. This area is isolated from fresh water resources, making the resorts totally dependent on locally desalinated water. From its Cairo office, Ridgewood Renewable Power is currently handling several active projects, ranging from power and water plants for individual hotels to complete utility networks for multi-hotel resorts.

Ridgewood Egypt's water purification and power generation assets include:

Water Purification:  18 plants with daily capacity of 24,700 cubic meters (6,525,000 gallons)

Power Generation:  8 plants with generating capacity of 18 MW
